Return to Movement: 6-week Programme

Getting back into exercise after pain, injury, or chronic health conditions can feel daunting. You might worry about triggering flare-ups, overdoing it, or not knowing where to start.

I know exactly how that feels — because I’ve been there myself.
Living with rheumatoid arthritis, Achilles tendonitis, an inflamed hip bursa, a torn rotator cuff, and fibromyalgia, I’ve had to carefully rebuild my own strength and movement from the ground up.

Through this process, I developed a system that helped me return to exercise while gently resetting my nervous system and avoiding flare-ups. That’s what inspired the Return to Movement Programme — a 6-week guided plan to help others in the same situation regain confidence, mobility, and strength.

How It Works

This programme focuses on meeting your body where it’s at. We start slowly, build progressively, and teach you how to listen to your body’s feedback along the way.

Step 1: Initial Session
A short introductory consultation where we discuss your:

  • Pain levels and movement history
  • Current injuries or medical conditions
  • Medications and relevant health factors
  • Goals for returning to movement

Step 2: Coaching Session
A personalized 30-40 minute session where I take you through your tailored exercise and stretch plan, designed specifically for your body’s current capabilities. You’ll learn how to move safely and with confidence.

You’ll also receive a 6-week movement planner, complete with:

  • Space to track pain and progress
  • Weekly planning templates
  • Guidelines on how to safely progress without flaring

Independent Starter – $149

  • Initial assessment + coaching session
  • Tailored exercise & stretch plan emailed to you
  • 6-week progress planner for self-guided success

Guided Progression – $249

  • Everything in Independent Starter
  • 3x fortnightly check-in sessions (30–40 min)
  • Plan adjustments, reassessments & accountability

High Support Return – $399

  • Everything in Guided Progression
  • Weekly 30–40 min coaching sessions (6 total)
  • Ongoing feedback, technique guidance & motivation

Where Sessions Are Held

Sessions can be held in my private home-based gym in Newlands

OR

I can travel to you (a small travel surcharge applies).
