Hi my name is Juliet, and I have been taking Kat’s classes now for nearly 2 years and have done over 200 classes.
I started losing weight by myself and got so far, but needed that extra help, sucking it up and getting out of my comfort zone; Delwyn and I teamed up and started Kat’s classes. I haven’t looked back and have now lost 25 kilos so far.
The drivers for me were not to only lose weight and get fit, but more importantly my health, and being there for my boys and husband Phil.
So now my doctor is very happy with my progress and results, also the fact that I am keeping it up. However, Phil is a little concerned about the wallet, as I have had to replace my entire wardrobe going from a size 18/20 to a size 10/12.
I am not only now keeping up with my boys, but also now working out with Phil regularly. Phil joins me for a Tabata classes on Saturdays and we work out during the week when we can, which for me to even consider 2 years ago I would have laughed and said a lot of not nice words! Sometimes I have to pinch myself and think is this real or I can’t believe I am able to do this.
A few months ago my mum was watching myself and my younger sister working out and she said “I never thought I would see the day, I am so proud” and I gave her a very sweaty hug.
My boys don’t like it when I miss a class as I can get a little grumpy and not patient and ask if there is a class I can go to which makes me giggle, for Phil he gets to not only work out with me (yay) which has brought us closer together, the way I was heading health wise we are now getting more value out of life.
