My Stellar Fitness journey began September 2017 with the 12 week Transformation Challenge. I had high expectations to lose tonnes of weight but realistically could only commit to one session a week working around my family.
It was a big deal letting go of the mum guilt and prioritising myself, making time for exercise. It was important to me for my kids to see me being active and leading a healthy lifestyle. Family history of diabetes, heart and weight troubles fuelled the need to manage my weight for long term health.
I love the varied style of Kat’s classes, where there is something for everyone. My favourites are Fight-fit and Boxing. Who knew hammer slams could be so therapeutic?!
Kat’s classes are unique, professional and personal.
They’re not intimidating like a traditional gym, and not a mirror in sight!
I’m proud of my commitment to classes and it’s a bonus to be able to bring the kids. I leave class feeling energised and with a clear mind.
My fitness journey is a work in progress and I’m grateful for Kat’s innovative approach to fitness. As I prepare to move across the ditch, I plan to utilise the new online category and continue to love my healthier lifestyle.
Although I haven’t met my expectations in regards to the number on the scales, I can confidently say I’m fitter, gained strength and tone, and learned to be kinder to myself. The best part though, is being part of a community and feeling supported when motivation runs low. Huge thanks to Kat and to the Stellar crew for your continued motivation and encouragement.
